What are the Engine Options for the 2019 Chevy Blazer?

The five trim level options for the 2019 Chevrolet Blazer include the L, the Blazer 2.5L, the Blazer 3.6L, the RS, and the Premier.  The standard engine for the L and the Blazer 2.5L trim levels is a 2.5L Inline 4-Cylinder that supplies the 2019 Blazer with 193 horsepower, 188 lb-ft of torque, and a 1,500-pound maximum tow rating.  Under the hood of the Blazer 3.6L, RS, and Premier trim levels is a 3.6L V6 engine that delivers 305 horsepower, 269 lb-ft of torque, and also a 1,500-pound towing capacity.  When the 3.6L V6 works with available All-Wheel Drive (AWD) its tow rating increases to 4,500 pounds.  AWD is only an option for trim levels equipped with the 3.6L V6 engine.  Both engine options work with a 9-Speed Automatic Transmission for optimal fuel economy but EPA efficiency ratings have not yet been released for the 2019 Chevy Blazer.
