Pumpkin Patches near Milwaukee WI

Now that fall is upon us in Wisconsin, many of us are looking for the best places to find the produce that is best associated with the season at hand: pumpkins. But where are you to go to find them? Here’s a short list of some of the best pumpkin patches in the Milwaukee area, many of which are great for family and church outings.

Best Pumpkin Patches in the Milwaukee Area

Jim’s Pumpkin Farm | Germantown

Located just northwest of Milwaukee and a short drive from West Bend, Jim’s Pumpkin Farm offers the best of everything: a 4.5-acre corn maze, Stuff-Your-Own Scarecrows, pedal tractors, a kid craft shack and (of course) pumpkins. They also are happy to provide school field trips and tours, but please, let them know in advance.

Lidner’s Pumpkin Farm | New Berlin

This family-owned pumpkin patch sells itself short. Yeah, they’ve got pumpkins, gourds and all sorts of fall decor. Still, you can’t forget that they’ve also got a petting zoo with goats, mini-pigs, a llama, a mini-horse and more. There’s also a corn maze, a pedal tractor racetrack, and even an 1840s log cabin to explore.

Basse’s Taste of Country | Colgate

To put it simply, this place rules. It’s got so much to do, just calling it a pumpkin patch is a bit of an insult. I mean, just look at all you can do there: pick all sorts of berries, enjoy the corn maze, enjoy the two jumping pillows, play pumpkin checkers, and even try out the pumpkin blasters. What more could a person ask for?

Meadowbrook Farm | West Bend

Situated just outside of West Bend, the Meadowbrook Farm has become something of a legend in these parts. They’re a year-round operation, of course, but it’s during the fall that they really shine. They’ve got a massive pumpkin patch, as well as a creepy corn field, a safari trail, and then a Haunted House when Halloween season rolls around. There’s really so much to do here, it’s a marvel that more people don’t know about it.
