While pirates and baseball players are certainly cute, swords and baseball bats can also be used to hurt other kids pretty easily. So, make sure that any props are flexible, so that you lessen the likelihood of anyone being injured.<\/span>

Wear Reflective Clothing<\/span><\/h3>\n

The sun sets pretty early this time of year, and it\u2019s important that people in cars can easily see you and your trick-or-treaters. So, wear reflective strips on your clothing, and consider taking a flashlight along to help with the darker stretches.<\/span><\/p>\n

Check Your Candy Before Digging In<\/span><\/h3>\n

Candy pieces might potentially fall out of their wrappers while they\u2019re in your child\u2019s bag, so locate these pieces and throw them away. Also, look for anything that looks like it might have been unwrapped and rewrapped, not that this happens very frequently.<\/span>
