One major factor in your credit score is how much of your available credit you are using. That\u2019s why it\u2019s always a good idea to keep paying on your debt, so that your total credit availability increases. Ideally, you\u2019d like to have your credit utilization at about 30% or less.<\/p>\n

Practice Better Spending and Saving Habits<\/h3>\n

As they say, credit isn\u2019t so much a number as it\u2019s a behavior. Try to live within your means, to save money whenever possible, and to make payments on your existing debt. The better habits you create now, the better chance you\u2019ll have to achieve good credit later.
