Things to Keep in Mind When Going on an EV Road Trip<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

When taking a road trip in an EV, planning is essential. Make sure your trip goes along a route that\u2019s flush with enough charging stations for you; more is better, for the sake of keeping your stress level low.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s also recommended that your trips mainly stick to cities, as most current charging stations are installed in high-traffic areas. Don\u2019t push your luck by taking a route with just barely enough charge points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s also recommended that EV-trippers have a backup plan in mind in case weather or another unforeseen event forces them to stop earlier than expected. The upcoming Cadillac LYRIQ<\/a> makes a great option for an EV road trip. Whereas the average Cadillac XT5 owner travels 40 miles a day, the LYRIQ boasts 300 miles of expected range on a full charge*.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
