2022 F-150 Lightning Performance and Range<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The power of the 2022 F-150 Lightning exceeds the strength of the famous F-150 itself. The F-150 Lightning is targeting 563 horsepower and 775 lb-ft of torque on release, which is the highest torque output of any F-150 model to ever exist! Its estimated 0-60 MPH speed is in the mid-4-second range when properly equipped with an extended-range battery. This exciting model is also built with the strongest steel ever used for an F-150 model which allows the 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning to haul up to 2,000 pounds in its payload and tow up to 10,000 pounds when properly equipped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regarding this powerhouse\u2019s range, the 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning offers two options for drivers to choose from. The standard-range battery is expected to give the F-150 Lightning around 230 miles of range while the extended-range battery targets 300 miles. Drivers can also use the electricity of the F-150 Lightning to power their home in the situation of a power outage with available Ford Intelligent Backup Power. With this feature, the F-150 Lightning can generate 9.6 kilowatts of power. If the driver has the available 80-amp Ford Charge Station Pro and home management system, the F-150 Lightning will automatically begin powering the home when plugged in and will resume charging once power is restored.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, the 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning will feature a diversity of advanced technologies. Part of Ford Co-Pilot360\u2122, the available BlueCruise feature offers hands-free driving on pre-qualified divided highways throughout the U.S. and Canada with more Hands-Free Blue Zones to be added in the future. Available Onboard Scales tells drivers how much weight they are hauling and towing to help avoid overloading and estimate range. Other technologies drivers can look forward to include the available Phone As A Key, available Pro Trailer Hitch Assist, and much more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
