A stream of water from a bubbler makes contact with a pair of lips

Bubbler History and Etymology

Several stereotypes come to mind when most people think about the Badger State: a penchant for cheese, religious devotion to the Green Bay Packers, and some unique dialectical choices. Falling into this final category is the widespread use of the the word “bubbler,” in reference to the individual drinking fountains that most of the rest of the English-speaking world refers to as, well, drinking fountains.

It’s nothing new to point out that Wisconsinites use the word “bubbler;” the word was referenced as a “You Know You’re From Milwaukee When…” giveaway in newspapers as far back as the 1960s. But why, exactly, is this term so firmly seared onto Wisconsin tongues?

How old are The Cadillac Three?

A woman ponders, "How old are they?"

The Cadillac Three Band and Members Age

Here at Eric Von Schledorn, we’re Cadillac experts; the luxurious nameplate is one of the four main automotive brands we deal in. But sometimes, the concept of Cadillac stretches beyond vehicles.

One way in which Cadillac has found its way into modern pop culture is in the name of a band called The Cadillac Three. The group has been making some waves with their unique musical aesthetic that straddles the line between rowdy country music and rebellious hard rock. As their website points out, they might be the only artists out there who can comfortably share a lineup with Florida Georgia Line and Keith Urban one night, then Metallica and Slayer the next.

You might notice that the musicians referenced above also belong to different generations. So how old are the Cadillac Three?
