Varied Camping Area Suggestions near Milwaukee, WI

In this era of COVID-19, many of our usual summer activities are simply off the table. Thankfully, one avenue still open is attending a campground in a safe, responsible manner. When doing so, be sure to stay safe; wear masks when indoors (and outdoors whenever adequate social distancing is not possible) and follow all the rules of Governor Evers’ latest mandate.

To help stimulate some ideas on where to head, we’ve compiled a few (relatively) local choices below. The first two are our “hip” choices (with the first being a clothing-optional location), and the latter two are more traditional. Explore and see what you think! Chevy LEGO® Compilation

It’s always exciting when two of our favorite worlds overlap. We here at Eric Von Schledhorn are obviously huge Chevy fans; one glance at our extensive inventory can tell you that. What may be less obvious is we also share a passion for a good LEGO® set.

Luckily for us (and hopefully for you too), the realms of Chevy and LEGO® have overlapped several times, with memorable results for each one. There are LEGO® sets of Chevy models, an animated LEGO® commercial for a Chevy Silverado, a full-size LEGO® build of a Silverado (yes, over six feet tall and 20 feet long), and more! Check out assorted offspring from the Chevy/LEGO® love affair below.

Two hands play an acoustic guitar

Those who grew up during the 1970s likely remember the hit song “Chevy Van.” Though the tune sat unused on the shelves of a record company for nearly two years before being released in 1975, it was an impressive success, reaching number five on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

But less well-known than the song itself is the artist. Who wrote “Chevy Van,” and whatever happened to him?

Milwaukee Flower Shops Offering Home Delivery for Mother’s Day 2020

With stay-at-home orders still in effect in Milwaukee, it looks like Mother’s Day is going to be a little different this year. But that’s been the case with just about everything these past few months.

Luckily, humans are muscling through the crisis and using their trademark ingenuity to retain some semblance of normalcy. One way they’re doing so is by providing curbside pickup and delivery services that may have been foregone in the past.

We can still show our mothers that we care by ordering flowers from one of Milwaukee’s excellent local florists. Check out some picks below; click the links to head to their websites, peruse their selections, and place your order. Mom will appreciate it.

How Ford Uses Math for Self-Driving Cars

Earlier this month was Pi Day, specifically on March 14. If you don’t know what that is, pi is the mathematical constant that is defined as the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter. Pi is an infinite number, but is usually shortened to 3.14 to make things simple. That is why March 14 (3-14) is known as Pi Day.
