2017 Cadillac CT6 Plug-in Hybrid Driving Range and Fuel Economy
Cadillac will be releasing the first-ever 2017 CT6 Plug-in Hybrid sedan which will go on sale in spring of 2017. With advanced hybrid technology and a premium luxury sedan, the new CT6 Plug-in Hybrid delivers customers an environmentally conscious vehicle without compromising luxury and performance. The CT6 Plug-In Hybrid system is designed to provide responsive, all-electric driving for most daily commutes while maximizing fuel efficiency by providing blended power from the engine and battery at higher speeds. The all-electric driving range for the CT6 Plug-in Hybrid is an estimated 30 miles and with the combination of the efficient engine and battery power, the total driving range is an estimated 400 miles.Â

What’s impressive at the new 2017 CT6 Plug-in Hybrid, is that it still achieves the same zero to 60 mph performance as its V6-powered competitors, all while achieving roughly twice the full EV range and MPGe figures. For the 2017 CT6 Plug-in Hybrid, the two-motor Enhanced Variable Transmission system combines with the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder gas engine to produce an estimated total system power of 335 horsepower and 432 pound-feet of torque.

The CT6 Plug-in Hybrid combines an all-new rear wheel drive electric variable transmission to provide the smooth, powerful acceleration that is expected from the CT6. Along those lines, the 2017 CT6 Plug-in Hybrid is capable of a 150 mph of combined top speed on the race track and 78 mph of EV-only top speed. Cadillac does not sacrifice the things we all love about the luxury sedan models and instead with the 2017 CT6 Plug-in Hybrid, drivers are getting a luxury sedan with all of the bells and whistles with advanced fuel economy and hybrid technology.
