When the diesel engine gets paired with the 6-Speed Manual Transmission, it achieves EPA estimates of 30 MPG through the city and 52 MPG highway driving. With the diesel engine working with the 6-Speed Automatic Transmission, the 2018 Chevy Cruze gets 31 MPG around town and 47 highway MPG.
