2020 Ford Explorer Cargo Space

2020 Explorer seating showcase

The 2020 Explorer is a three-row, midsize SUV, giving it three different cargo dimensions. Behind the third row there is 18.2 cu-ft of space. Fold those seats down and you’ll have 47.9 cu-ft behind the second row. With both rear rows folded down, there’s 87.8 cu-ft available. Whether you need cargo space, max seating capacity, or some combination of the two, the 2020 Explorer has you covered.

2020 Ford Explorer Safety Tech

Every 2020 has the Co-Pilot360 suite. That means every Explorer model has blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-keep assist, a rearview camera, automatic high-beams, post-collision braking, a pre-collision system with forward collision warning, automatic front emergency braking, and pedestrian detection. Available upgrades include adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go tech, road sign assist, evasive steering assist, active perpendicular and parallel parking assist, reverse braking assist, a 360° parking camera, and automatic rain-sensing windshield wipers.

2020 Ford Explorer Connectivity

SYNC 3 is standard on each 2020 Explorer. As a result, every 2020 Explorer has Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility. There’s two USB ports in both the front and back, making for a total of four. One port in both front and back is a USB-C for ultra-fast charging and responsivity. An integrated Wi-Fi hotspot is also standard. Remote start is one of our favorite standard features, especially great for those harsh Wisconsin winters.
