Independence Day is approaching once again, so it’s time to start thinking about how you’re going to celebrate. The Milwaukee area is no stranger to partying, and that’s especially true when it comes to America’s birthday. Fireworks for the 4th of July 2019 near Milwaukee WI 

City of Waukesha Parade

Starting at 11:00 a.m., this party goes on all day on the 4th. Come to the Waukesha County Expo Center at 1000 Northview Road to begin your celebrating. The parade kicks off at 11:00 and there will be plenty of things to see and do until the fireworks start at 9:30.

Milwaukee Mile Speedway Celebration hand holding sparkler and american flag

The Milwaukee Mile Speedway in West Allis has a celebration of its own. Food, music, and great family fun are going on all day, with, of course, fireworks topping it all off. This display is pretty remarkable, we have to say, so don’t miss it! 

Celebration in the Park 

Many Milwaukee public parks are having their own fireworks celebrations. These are all free to attend and the times may vary by location. Some parks participating include Gordon Park, Humboldt Park, Alcott Park, and Noyes Park. Check out the full list of the local parks with fireworks to learn more about the when ‘n where.
